Pandit Service Terms
1. Who provides the service
A pandit ji booked through Ritkalp is an independent practitioner. The pandit, not Ritkalp, performs the ritual. Ritkalp arranges the booking, takes payment, and passes the pandit’s fee to them.
2. Booking
A booking is requested on the site with the date, time slot, ritual and location. It is confirmed when the pandit accepts it, and we will tell you the confirmed details. Availability depends on the pandit’s calendar.
3. Fees and payment
The fee for each booking is shown before you pay. Payment is taken through Ritkalp’s payment provider. Ritkalp passes the fee to the pandit under the payout schedule below.
[Business input: payout schedule to pandits, and any platform fee. To be set by Ritkalp before this page is published.]
4. Changes and cancellation
Please ask us to change or cancel a booking as early as you can. Changes depend on the pandit’s availability.
[Business input: cancellation and rescheduling windows, and any fees. To be set by Ritkalp before this page is published.]
5. Your responsibilities
Please give accurate details of the ritual, the location and the family’s preferences, and be present or arrange for someone to be present at the ritual.
6. Traditions
Practices differ by family, region and tradition. The pandit will follow the tradition you tell them about. Ritkalp does not guarantee any spiritual or other outcome.
7. Your information
We share with the pandit only what the booking needs, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
8. Problems
If something goes wrong with a booking, contact us with your booking reference. We will work with the pandit to resolve it.
