Your privacy rights
You can use these rights whenever you like. Signed-in customers can do everything in the Privacy Centre; nothing needs a form or a phone call.
What you can do
- See your data — download a copy of what we hold about you.
- Correct it — fix your name or phone at once, or ask us to correct the details on an order (we also fix the pandit’s copy).
- Erase it — delete your account. Your login, saved addresses, cart, uploaded photos and reminders go at once. The order and payment record is kept for 365 days (the minimum the Rules require; accounting law may require more), then your name, phone and address are removed from it automatically.
- Withdraw consent — switch off any optional choice with one click.
- Nominate someone — name a person who may use these rights on your behalf.
- Complain — tell us what went wrong. You get a ticket number and an answer, within 7 days if we can, and always within 90.
Deactivating, deleting and erasing are different
- Sign out / stop using the account — nothing is deleted.
- Delete your account — removes your login and everything tied only to it, and closes your consents.
- Erasure of personal data — happens as part of deleting the account, except records we must keep by law.
- Anonymisation — when the retention period ends, the name, phone and address on kept orders are replaced with “Redacted”; the price and item stay for our accounts.
- Backups — our database provider keeps backups that age out on their own schedule. Erased data is never restored into use.
No account? You can still ask
If you only ever ordered as a guest, email us from the address you used and tell us your order number and phone. We will check it is you, then correct or anonymise your order details. Write to atul.viet@gmail.com (Atul Srivastava).
How we check it is you
Signed in is enough for most requests. Deleting your account also asks for your password again, so nobody with a stolen session can erase it. We never ask for a government ID.
Marketing messages
You can opt out of promotional messages at any time using the unsubscribe link, by contacting us, or through the preference controls in your account. Essential messages about your order, delivery, refunds, security and account still reach you.
Limits on some requests
Some requests are subject to reasonable verification and legal exceptions. For example, we may keep order and payment records where the law requires it, or where they are needed to establish or defend a legal claim.
Where to send a written request
